NaBloPoMo May Prompt #7

Prompt #7 - May 10: What decision is currently weighing on your mind?

It's all about my daughter's guestbook. I was actually thinking of looking for other printing shops (even if it means traveling  far downtown). I don't think that the one that we visited last weekend convinced me enough to just go with it. I mean I have mentioned on my other post that the type of guestbook that the shop was offering was not what I'm expecting. I'm a bit in a hurry to do stuff for my daughter's birthday simply because my husband will leave for London by the end of the month. And my daughter can be left to my in laws without crying for couple of hours. And that actually worries me that she'll be (and so as my in laws) will be stressed when I leave her. But not to worry because I already did my research just a few hours ago about printing shops, so I guess this will be one less thing to worry about by Friday :)

NaBloPoMo May Prompt #6

Prompt 6 - May 9: How do you feel about endings?

Now that is something I'm quite not good at. Although I don't cry on 'all' endings, it's just that most of the time, it's hard to believe that something needs to end. Like a relationship, a TV drama, a life, a load, school year, a contract. Everything needs to end. In due time. Sometimes I feel sorry something has to end, sometimes I can easily accept it. So what will be left for you are the memories, whether good or bad.

NaBloPoMo May Prompt #5

Prompt #5 - May 6: Do you like beginnings?

Of course yes. Because there would be no endings if there are no beginnings. There won't be a beautiful ending if there wasn't any beginning. There was no story to tell at all.

NaBloPoMo May Prompt #3

Prompt #3 - May 4: Talk about you feel about making decisions.

Sometime I feel very very uneasy especially if I have to make a decision right now. You know, like the one asking for it are in a hurry and I wasn't given enough time to think about it? I don't like that. But if it's work related like if I'm requested to be the emcee or if I have to make the backdrop, then it's fine. But if I'm in a grocery and I have to choose which prize I want to take home, I always choose which is more important. Like on Saturday, I have to decide which office desk would I wanted to buy. That's somewhat important really because if I'm not gonna decide then, I have to wait for another Saturday. So I choose which table was more functional. How about family matter? Or family related thing? Well I have to talk about it with my husband. Sometimes you will be in a situation that you wanted it so badly but you remembered that you're not the only one to decide about it. Like one time when I went to the mall with my two sisters, there's a book stall there which will only be for a weekend. They request us to see their demo on one of my nephew. It was so amazing and I think the the book set is really gonna be helpful for my daughter and my nephews, but it's not for us (my sisters and I) only to decide. The sales lady was getting so demanding that we sign their paper and then we pay them only a thousand bucks each and the books will be delivered the following day and we'll be paying every Saturday. To her it was easy. Fill out the paper, pull out a thousand bucks and wait every Saturday. She's really getting into my nerve that I just told her that we'll be in the mall until late night so my sisters and I will think about it and we'll call our husbands and she said she'll wait for us to come back. Of course we didn't. We went straight to the parking lot after strolling and never pass that stall. Whew!

Bottom line, if I could help it, I don't want to be rushed in making a decision. And I don't want to decide alone if I have to decide with a team.

Prompt #2 - May 3: Talk about grief.  Talk about the opposite of grief

Grief as defined by Wiktionary.com is
  1. Suffering, hardship. [from early 13th c.]
  2. Pain of mind arising from misfortune, significant personal loss, misconduct of oneself or others, etc.; sorrow; sadness. [from early 14th c.]
She was worn out from so much grief.
    The betrayal caused Jeff grief.

  3. (countable) Cause or instance of sorrow or pain; that which afflicts or distresses; trial.
Surely, he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows. -Isaiah 53:4

Grief most of the time is not good for human comprehension. It's hard. Especially when you're caught by surprise of losing a loved one. But The Lord will always be with you no matter how you feel or what situation you are. Honestly I had a very very bad time when I lost my mother in 2007. And everybody expects you to be okay after a month of losing a mother not knowing that you need some more time to completely take it out of your system and let your mind completely accept the fact that she's gone. Now this will be the right time to apply what God has said in Ecclesiastes 3:1-8:

1 There is a time for everything,
and a season for every activity under the heavens:
2 a time to be born and a time to die,
a time to plant and a time to uproot,
3 a time to kill and a time to heal,
a time to tear down and a time to build,
4 a time to weep and a time to laugh,
a time to mourn and a time to dance,
5 a time to scatter stones and a time to gather them,
a time to embrace and a time to refrain from embracing,
6 a time to search and a time to give up,
a time to keep and a time to throw away,
7 a time to tear and a time to mend,
a time to be silent and a time to speak,
8 a time to love and a time to hate,
a time for war and a time for peace.

 Everything will come to pass..

NaBloPoMo May Prompt #1

Prompt #1 - May 2: What is/was your favorite subject in school?

I love Science when I was in grade school. But in highschool I learned to love Social Studies, Filipino, English and Values. Maybe because the teachers on those subjects are inspiring and kind to students. There are some terror teachers in school and I promised myself that if one day I become a teacher, I will do everything to cause my students to learn and not quit school.
