30 Days Of Blogging (Day 30)

Day 30 - A Picture

The last day of my 30-day blogging challenge!!!!!! Wow I'm happy to make it this far :) I'd be doing another one after this.

I'd like to share a picture I took of my daughter and husband from Manila Ocean Park. It's my daughter's first time there and I think she had a lot of fun. People are laughing at her (at us) because she's screaming and shouting on the fishes and pointing at them especially on the sharks.

30 Days Of Blogging (Day 28)

Day 28 - Something That Stresses You Out

Wow. I'm now on my 28th day. i can't believe I'll be finished with this soon...

Something that stresses me out is when I see things not being on their proper places. Haha! Sorry for being an oc but that's who I am. I just want things to be where they should be or return them to where you get them so for the next time, you know where they are and everybody else won't be bothered looking for it.

30 Days Of Blogging (Day 27)

Day 27 - Pets

I will be talking about my pet. You see, when I was little I used to have a dog and we named him 'Tiger' because he had stripes like that of a tiger although he's brown. I had him as a puppy and he grew up to be my best friend then. He's a sweet dog. Whenever my mother gives me my daily milk, I will share him some. I remember one time when one of my playmates came over to our house and we were playing 'step-no.' She touched my shoulder to hold on because she will fall then when Tiger bite her. My dog thought my friend was hurting me (a bit of a problem but she had vaccine then). And then one time when I went out side with my mother who's disposing our garbage, a dog from our neighbor jumped out from the fence and was ready to attack us. Our gate was open and came Tiger rushing to protect us from the mad neighbor's dog. He was my hero for twice a time. But he's afraid of the fireworks. Whenever New Years come, we will lock him in our room so he will not run outside. But one new year eve a friend of my father came to celebrate with us. He opened the gate and didn't close it. Tiger ran out and never did we see him again. I cried for a couple of weeks because of what happened. My parents has already asked the subdivision guards in case they have seen Tiger. But he never came home. My heart was broken. He was my dog and my hero. My mother promised me another dog but the love and the friendship that Tiger and I had can never be replaced.

So I had dogs after him but same old story, they will die and then I will cry for a while. Then I realized and learned about death. That it will hurt but sooner or later you will learn to accept that it's God's plan.

So you better have a good camera to capture the moments then! LOL!

30 Days Of Blogging (Day 26)

Day 26 - Picture Of Your Family

If you're asking for a picture of my immediate family, oh I don't have one on my laptop. I remember having only few family portraits. In my time I think digital cameras are newly invented and even though we had a scanner a couple of years ago, we didn't think of scanning pictures. But let me just tell you about my family.

We are four in the family. We were supposed to be five but my youngest sister went with the Lord two months after she was delivered due to pneumonia. She's a mini me. My mother used to tell me that she looks exactly like me. She's a sweet baby. She will look in the eyes of whoever is talking to her. But I know that's she's safe now with Our father.

I'm the eldest, I only have one brother and he's our youngest at the same time the only single left in the family LOL!

30 Days Of Blogging (Day 24)

Day 24 - Something You've Learned

In my many years of existence, there is never a month or a week that I don't learn something. Maybe because we are destined to learn something that can change or life, our perspective in life or just to simply open us to changes.

I learned a lot of things. To forgive and forget. To love more. To completely accept changes and if nothing can be done about it, embrace it. To think first before deciding especially on crucial situations. To stand firm to what I believe. To stand up after falling. To face the storm and enjoy the rain. That friends, no matter how far the distance, will never forget your friendship.

Day 22 - What's In Your Make Up Kit

Honestly, not much. I'm not a fan of make ups. I like it simple. Mascara and eyeliners are enough to me, although I sometimes use lipsticks -matte- when my friends teases me that I look pale sometimes they think I'm a blood sucker so I can't be under the sun. Haha! That's really funny. But true. I'm a lover of mascara. Name it. I can't live without it. There has been times when some bosses in the company I worked with will ask me what brand am I using, or the techniques in putting on mascara. I'm not saying that I'm pretty good with it but I guess when you love something you'll really work hard to at least master it right? And have I mentioned that I love Revlon? Yup. I love that brand. And I love what they make of Penelope Cruz' eyes. Wow! They're gorgeous and she is! Take a look at her eyes and you will see what I look like everyday. THE EYES is what I mean, don't get me wrong. I like dark eyes although mine aren't so I always play with mascara and eyeliners. When my eyes are pretty pimped, I feel so beautiful and prepared, LOL!

30 Days Of Blogging (Day 20)

Wow! Ten day to go and I'm done with my 30 day blogging challenge! Hmmm... Which one am I going to do next...

 Day 20 - Nicknames

Yeah I do give nicknames to those I love. Like my husband. When our relationship was just a month old, I gave him a new name. I scrambled him name and when I got satisfied with what I got, I started using that new name. And so as my daughter. I call it sweet call. You know. You give nicknames to every people you know. Only to those that mean a lot to you.

30 Days Of Blogging (Day 19)

Day 19 - Something You Miss

This day is asking me to discuss something, or maybe I can also answer with someone, I miss. It's my mom I miss. She passed away in 2007. That was the year that was so hard for me and my whole family. It was 15 days before Christmas when she left us. I know that it's God's will that as human, I was hurt and broken into pieces. Not everyone at that time understands the pain that my family bears. But what's good about it was that, she'll never feel pain anymore. And someday, I know we will meet her again. Not much of a story though.

30 Days Of Blogging (Day 18)

Day 18 - Something You Regret

I'm not really sure if there is something I regret that I did not think of as God's plan in my life. I believe that everything is in God's plan. Or maybe I should just re-phrase this with 'something you should have done' instead..

If that will be the case it will be that I should have listened to the one and only friend who told me not to take so much so that my baby would get bigger when I was still pregnant. At that time I was not counting the calories I'm taking in. You see, people around me got so overwhelmed they might have forgotten about it LOL!

Or I can also say, I hope I see it coming - that will be for the first obstetrician who checked on me on my first and second trimester. She's friendly, yes. But she will never tell you that there is something wrong about you unless you mention to her that you feel something. Why is that? I don't know. I had a lot of questions back then that my friends told me the OB should have told me instead. Why is that so? Again, I don't know. She didn't even ask me what I was eating. Unlike the second and final OB who took care of me, she's very firm and friendly and caring all in one. She's very motherly to all her patients. Well, at least I learned. At least I met her so for the next time I will get pregnant.

30 Days Of Blogging (Day 16)

This is my day 16 post. No Blog Dare today, don't know why but I already asked Tiffany, the creator of Blog Dare (well, I posted on the forum). Anyway here's my answer.

Day 16 - Dream House..

I like my house to be spacious, a high ceiling two-story house, with a wide high door and a big backyard and nice flower garden and a tree house for my children. Inside I'd like to have at least 5 bedrooms one for the guest, a home library for me and my family to gather and bond with books, I'd like to have a big bathroom because I love bathrooms, I just want to hang out there. The dining table should be intimately close, I mean not too big; the windows are high. I'd like to have a pool because I swim and I'd like my children to learn to swim as well. I like my house to look vintage, something classic but black and white in color. The rooms of my children will of course depend on their taste.

MY FAVORITE! picture source
Bot of course I want everything inside the house to be black and white. Those are my favorite colors. Does that makes sense? Can you visualize it? LOL! Something classic like this:

but black and white like this:

And here are some bedroom photos:

or how about this one?

or this one:

They all look so elegant don't they? But of course my girl's room should look like this one:

or this one:

Gee! This post actually helps me in developing my googling-tivity! (LOL). I guess that's it. I'm already overwhelmed by these pictures.

30 Days Of Blogging (Day 15)

Day 15 - Bible verse

I have a personal Bible verse that I live with, although there are a lot of Bible verses that mean so much to me.

Psalm 23

The Lord is my shepherd
I shall not want.
He makes me lie down in green pastures;
He leads me beside the still waters.
He restores my soul;
He leads me in the paths of righteousness
for His name's sake.

Yea though I walk through the valley
of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil
for You are with me;
Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.
You prepare a table before me
in the precess of my enemies;
You anoint my head with oil.

My cup runs over.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me
all the days of my life;
And I will dwell in the house of the Lord
forever.
(from my Bible, New International Version)

My favorite Christian author is Max Lucado. I love his writings. A friend gave me a book as a gift, 'Traveling Light.' I love it so much because he discussed Psalm 23 on that book. It says in the front: Releasing the burden you were never intended to bear. Yeah I believe on that. We have a big God above, He will never leave us alone.

30 Days Of Blogging (Day 14)

Day 14 I'm so sleepy but here I go!

Day 14 - A Picture You Love

I love pictures. But if I am to choose of which is my favorite? That will be this one:

This is my daughter when I gave birth at the hospital. She's less than a day old on that picture. I love that picture so much because that's the first time I saw her (when the anesthesia ran off). She's so adorable and she just stares at me as if saying "you're my mom right?" Oh her dad  can't stop taking pictures of her and me while crying. I was overdue then of one week and three days and we're kind of worried that she might get an infection so we're really thankful that she didn't. She's very healthy.

But before that, my favorite photo was this, my wedding:

And speaking of photo. I'm actually planning of buying a DSLR camera tomorrow. It was supposed to be last week but I'm still undecided - until now - which brand to buy. I've read a couple of forums and reviews about Canon and Sony cameras but I don't know yet. Many are saying that canon is the best, but when I read their their specifications, I think Sony is better. I like Sony SLT-A33Y. It comes with SAL1855 all purpose lens and SAL55200-2 telephoto zoom lens. Yes I have my preference and that would be Sony because most of our things here at home are Sony but of course I'm open for other brands. Hmm... I still have tomorrow morning to think about it.
