April 9, 2011 - An exercise in sharing...

Create a list of 10 or so things your readers may not know about you.  Yes yes, this is a lot like the 25 Random Things About Me floating around on Facebook.  However, I find these lists interesting.  They are a great way to learn a few things about the writer you may never have known otherwise.

Oh yes I know that '25 Random things About Me' on Facebook although I did not join in the fun LOL!

Okay so here's my share for today:

1. I'm a goth and I love it!

    p.s. goth, not emo

2. I don't like folding clothes after I laundry them (is there a machine that folds clothes?).

3. I love drag racing and dreamed of drag racing someday

4. I love rag dolls, I may look like I don't care about dolls but one Christmas exchange gift, I asked for a rag doll which was granted :)

5. I'm an insomniac (I think I already mentioned this on Day 1 of 30 Days of blogging) and I can stay awake for 3 day (that's why my mom was keeping caffeine out of my sight). Nothing, I just read and read.

6. I'm a teacher. I graduated BSE but I was teaching pre-school, elementary (gradechool) and highschool. I think I will be teaching college as well LOL!

7. I'm a book and magazine collector. I have LOTS of books my mom doesn't know where to put the others.

8. I'm into classical musics.

9. I have a HUGE crush on Vin Diesel (**giggles). If he ask me to marry him, he will not tell it twice!

10. I love to sing. I sing on our church every Sunday.

The Blog Dare (April 8)

Here's today's challenge/dare: April 8, 2011 - When I was young, I wanted to have {number of children}....

Hahaha! Why all of a sudden the dares and challenges I'm on to are quite 'challenging'  to answer?! LOL!

Okay here it goes...

When I was young, I wanted to have four children because we were  four in the family and I think it's fun. If you're lucky (I can't find any other right word) you can have two girls and two boys equally divided. But if not you'll be like us, three girls and an only boy.

Okay, that was when I was young. But now that I'm already grown up and have a child of my own, I'm not sure if I still want to have four children. Of course I still know and believe that the more the merrier however I'm just not sure. Maybe three or two for now LOL!

The Blog Dare (April 7)

Today's challenge: April 7, 2011 - I would love to be the spokesperson for....

Haha! Okay so this is a bit hard. Who would I want to be the spokesperson of? Hmmm... Let me think....

Can I just be the spokesperson of the misunderstood? Well, sometimes, people just can't explain themselves, I mean they 'are' speaking but what they wanted really to say is not what we are hearing, you know what I mean? I remember this movie 'Cloudy with a chance of Meatball' where the dad of Flint Lockwood was a man of few words and that he cannot express himself out really that's why most of the time, he and Flint just argue. At the end of the movie Sam Sparks, the weather reported then gf of Flint took Steve's (the monkey) translator and connect it on Tim's heart so that Flint would hear what he really wanted to say. His "in-other-words" moment. Yeah I like that movie (**smile).

The Blog Dare (April 6)

Yippee! I'm on my second day for the April Blog Dare. Calling all mommies out there, you may want to join in the fun (**wink). I have enough time today to post early and to check on my facebook account since I'm finishing my daughter's guestbook.

Today's challenge: April 6, 2011 - A typical evening at our home...

My husband is always working late so every weekdays I was the only one who have dinner after I put my baby to sleep. I' just keep his portion so when he gets home, he could eat. But on weekends, we make sure that the three of us have dinner together. We'll cook early before baby gets sleepy so she could sit with us at the dinner table. I guess if after three or four years and hubby's schedule would still be that way, my constant companion then every dinner would be my baby huh. Hmmm... Well not bad, as long as we keep our weekend dinner together as family or even with other relatives and friends, that would be fine with me then.

The Blog Dare (April 5)

I was actually late for this month's Blog Dare at the Bloggy Mommy community. What's actually good about this dare was that, they are not forcing you to blog, just post if you have free time, it says "think quality over quantity" on the page. That's good. I hope that bloggers aren't blogging just for the sake of blogging. When I started blogging in 2004, I was very eager then to post. But after a year, my account was hacked. At that time I lost my appetite in blogging. It is only now that I can find myself back on track again.

So here's today challenge: April 5, 2011 - How I break up the daily routine...

I know that if I stick with my 'to do list' in chronological order that will be good for me, but since I wanted to cut myself from these daily routine, I try to do it randomly. My whole life as a student, I cannot live without a post-it and an organizer where I jot down all the things I need to do each day-assignments, meetings, symposiums and others. So, when I gave birth, I was thinking if there's still a need to be 'boring' (that's me), I realized, it's fun to try it in a different way.
