Alphabe Thursday #3

Jenny Matlock

Alphabe-Thursday Letter B

B is for Butterfly Card

I made this flat card for my daughter's 10th month celebration and that is today. Actually it was for her entertainment only. The butterfly and everything on it was quilled. it was one hobby that I love so much. I made a simple one. And I'm thinking of making an invitation like this.... Hmmm...

Beautiful Butterfly! (I've never been able to master the art of quilling but certainly love the finished projects!)
Thanks for sharing and have a
Happy B Day!

Your butterfly is beautiful. I've never tried quilling, but admire those who do.

What a talent that is! I would love to do that. I am afraid I don't do much of that sort of thing - in my younger years, I did crewel, needlepoint and cross stitch and I've always written poetry. That's abot it, though.

Oh gosh, this card brings back memories. A long, long time ago there was a woman that did home party plans in our area for quilling. We each bought a kit and she taught us how to do it and then we could buy extra supplies and the hostess earned free merchandise.

The project we did was white on white and I thought it was kind of boring. I've never thought of quilling in colorful terms but this is gorgeous.

I think I'm going to have to check into this. Looks like fun!

Thanks for sharing this neat link.
